KT-DDPM: Driver
Course length: 0 Days | Tuition: Contact KU
Course Description
Decision making is a key tactical skill that every project manager and project team member should possess. A robust decision-making process allows projects to move smoothly from initiation to closure.
Combining theory, application, and practice, this workshop helps you learn and apply a decision-driven approach to project management that dramatically improves your project execution. Learn to quickly scan project status to identify issues that can affect project success-and to respond to these issues and mitigate threats to their resolution. Over the course of a project's lifecycle, some decisions are straightforward yet highly critical, such as selecting vendors, assigning responsibilities, and scheduling deliverables. Others are more challenging, such as selecting project objectives, deciding whether to continue or kill a project, or determining how to proceed to the next phase of a project. Using the systematic KT approach you will improve the way these decisions are made and embraced. No matter the size or complexity of the project, this workshop prepares you to act on the decision points that influence the progress of the project and actively balance stakeholder expectations with the best possible choices.
