Course Description The Solaris 10 Security course provides students with instruction about identifying authentication and security changes found in Solaris 10 including changes to password checking, features of least privilege, SCF, hardware acceleration for IKE and IP filter firewall. Format This course is presented using Sun's web-based Live Virtual Class (LVC). The LVC is a dynamic and fully interactive online learning environment that features live teaching collaboration, and instructor-assisted activities. Lab Information The hands-on online labs offered in this course involve accessing equipment through a network terminal session. Students will not have physical access to this equipment. Students will access the equipment through Sun's Remote Lab Data Center (RLDC). Technical Requirements Before purchase, please review technical requirements:

Candidates must pass both part I and part II exams of the same Solaris OS version in order to obtain certification. If you are already certified as a system administrator for a previous version of the Solaris Operating System, you can take the upgrade exam for the version of the Solaris of interest to you. |
