| VERITAS Bare Metal Restore™ 6.x for NetBackup is an
enterprise solution for rapid recovery of UNIX or Windows client systems. As
a complementary product that is integrated with VERITAS NetBackup™, VERITAS
Bare Metal Restore™ (BMR) simplifies and streamlines the server recovery
process, making it unnecessary to manually reinstall operating systems or
configure hardware. With a single command, complete server restores can be
accomplished in a fraction of the time. In this 3-day, instructor-led,
hands-on class, you gain the expertise that is necessary to set up,
administer, and troubleshoot a BMR environment.

Who Should Attend This course is for system or network administrators, system engineers, technical support personnel, and system integration/development staff who are responsible for installing, operating, or integrating VERITAS Bare Metal Restore 6.x for NetBackup. Prerequisites Students must be proficient with administration of Windows and Solaris systems and with basic networking technology. In addition, students should be familiar with VERITAS NetBackup. Familiarity with VERITAS Volume Manager and VERITAS File System would also be an asset Hands-On This course includes practical exercises that enable you to test your new skills and begin to transfer them into your working environment. |
