What are SmartPoints?
SmartPoints offers a variety of gifts, training promotions, class discounts, and other items for it's members. In addition to getting rewarded for training, there are also many other ways to gain points and redeem your rewards, including referring coworkers, completing evaluations, and more!
What can I redeem my SmartPoints for?
SmartPoints can be redeemed for any of the items listed in this catalog. There are lots of great rewards to choose from so get started today!
How do I earn SmartPoints?
Earn your first SmartPoints automatically when you enroll for class with KU - it's that simple!!! You can earn one point for every dollar you spend. In addition, special bonus opportunities allow you to quickly earn more points and get more rewards!!!
How can I earn SmartPoints even faster?
If you would like to build points quickly, you can complete any of the actions in the categories above or take advantage of limited-time bonus point programs offered throughout the year. Look for opportunities to earn double, and even triple the points.
How do I redeem SmartPoints?
Your SmartPoints can be redeemed for any of the items listed in the SmartPoints Catalog or on the SmartPoints section of the KU website. Redeeming your rewards is simple:
- Find the reward that you want and contact your KU Account Manager or email smartpoints@knowledgeunited.com. Please note the following:
- If SmartPoints are redeemed with points from an upcoming class, your items are mailed 2-6 weeks following the date you complete your paid training
- Items are mailed to the address on your MyKU profile. If you would like your item shipped to a different address, please notify KU immediately.
How do I check the balance of my SmartPoints?
You can contact KU to check the balance of your SmartPoints at any time. Effective March 1, 2008, you will also be able to check your SmartPoint balance and redeem rewards online at myKU. You will also get balance updates at the following times:
- Once a quarter via email and mail from Knowledge United
- Each time you add points to SmartPoints
- Each time you redeem your SmartPoints
Terms and Conditions of SmartPoints
- All courses must be attended in the United States or Canada
- SmartPoints rewards are subject to availability
- Rewards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund
- SmartPoints can not be transferred or combined
- Knowledge United reserves the right to change, cancel, or discontinue the SmartPoints program at any time
- You may only complete the Post Class Survey one time per class for a maximum of 500 points
- All rewards are final once requested and may not be exchanged or returned
- SmartPoints is effective beginning January 1, 2008; points are not retroactive
- Training Dollars used toward exams are not eligible for SmartPoints
- Knowledge United is not responsible for lost or stolen gifts. Allow 2-6 weeks for delivery of your reward. All gifts are sent via FedEx ground
- All training classes must comply with Knowledge United's cancellation policy.
- If you cancel or fail to show for a training class, your reward and corresponding points are revoked
